A man and a woman in western-style clothing pose in front of a pickup truck parked outside the 'Standard Hat Works' building. Made with Standard Hat works

Some things you don’t fake. Cowboy hats are one of them.

Standard Hat Works, established in 1915, has earned its reputation the right way, through quality, consistency, and decades of making hats for the people who live in them. From some of the most trusted country musicians in the world to working cowboys who know the difference, Standard Hat Works is a name that carries real weight in the hat world.

This collaboration brings together two Waco-rooted brands built on the same values: authenticity, heritage, and respect for the culture that shaped us.

HOW TO MEASURE

Measure where the hat will sit

  1. Grab a soft tape.

A sewing tape works best. No tape? Use a string or phone charger cord, mark where it overlaps, then lay it flat against a ruler.

  2. Wrap it where the hat rides.

Across the middle of your forehead, about 1/8" above the tops of your ears, and around the fullest part of the back of your head. Keep it level all the way around.

  3. Snug, not tight.

Your hat will fit about as tight as you measure. Don't pull it so the tape dents your skin, and don't leave slack.

  4. Measure twice.

Wear your hair the way you'll wear it under the hat. If the two readings differ, use the bigger one.

  5. Round up.

Find your measurement in the chart below. Between sizes, go up to the next size.
