This river has hosted native tribes, explorers, and adventure chasers alike. The name ‘Yellowstone’ was translated from Minnetaree by Lewis and Clark on their famous expedition. These blue ribbon waters hold brown trout, rainbow trout, and the famous Yellowstone cutthroat trout. But don’t let the beauty fool ya, that supervolcano is still there just’a waiting.
