Back in the 1840s, a pack of lobos along the Devils river stole a young girl from her homestead. Years later folks would claim they saw a human figure running on all fours, wailing with a pack of dogs behind her. They say up until the late 20’s you could shoot a wolf west of Del Rio and every once in a while you’d find one with a man’s face. With it's canyon silhouettes and lone wolf skull, the Lobo bandana conjures up legends of old. Wear it out west of the 98th meridian and you just might hear the haunted howls of the damned, still echoing from the canyon walls.
